Goodman Group on Tuesday began the construction of logistics center Cracow Airport Logistics Centre, near Krakow Modlniczce. The first phase of the project involves the construction of infrastructure and two warehouses with a total area of 34.8 thousand. sq. m
It is the largest investment the company in Poland in recent years has built warehouses near Torun, in Raciborz and Breslau. – Our group operates in 16 countries on three continents. Modern logistics center in Krakow with a target usable area 150 thousand. sq m will consist of eight high-storage warehouse with additional office space, social and technical. The Centre will be located within a total area of 31.5 ha. So far, Goodman is not invested in about 80 million zł.
The project is just barely a kilometer from the border most important center of trade in the region, which is Krakow, and four kilometers from the International Airport Krakow-Balice. Easy access also provides proximity to the A4 motorway connecting Krakow and Wroclaw (approx. 1km).
Potential clients are the center of international and local companies focusing its activities on both the storage, packaging and labeling of goods, as well as light manufacturing and distribution. Projected employment in Cracow Airport Logistics Centre is approximately a thousand. people.
Goodman ensure that their projects cares about the environment. For example, the company will install rainwater storage system in the retention tank, and then evaporating water on the roofs of warehouses through a sprinkler system.
